If you mean the next level is the Los Angeles Lakers, yes the Lakers have a shot of getting Wiggins when he moves his game to LA. 8-)

I think he has the talent, but I'm not sure he has the fire in the belly... Playing with KG can either be really good or really bad... I think the jury's still out.
I personally have my doubts he'll ever be much more than he is now.

One problem is that he was supposed to come into the league with already above average defense and room to grow. He hasnt been showing the defensive ability that he flashed during college at all.

Wiggins has alpha body with beta skill level or enthusiasm for the game, that's been the same even when he played at Kansas. He looks stoned most of the time.

Wiggins has been nearly the same player he was in high school when we played him in a tournament. The guy just seems to go through the motions. He was the best athlete on the floor but not nearly as dominate as he should have been. That said all I needed to know about the guy. Here we are, same player with all the physical tools but no passion. I remember Kevin pangos use to light this guy up in high school. I never understood the hype and I still don't

Ideally we would hire an offensive minded assistant, and a defensive minded assistant, and tell Byron to watch the game from a VIP suite

is he someone you'd consider as a defensive bench piece next summer? for a tiny fraction of what he was once making, of course.

it always feels good to add home town boys to the roster.

Good defensive player, good team guy, suffered form being overpaid by Toronto in hopes of luring Nash there, then didn
t fit the system and underused.

For the minimum? Yes - in a minute.

Ballmer continues to strike me as a guy who didn't watch a lick of basketball until he bought the Clips.
