You truly are waiting in vain because Mitch said last week they (the FO and Scott) were going to take a couple weeks, gather their thoughts, reflect on the season and have a meeting in the future and that was only a week ago... From that I figured it would be mid May at the earliest before any news started coming from the team but honestly I could see this going into late June early July, it would be foolish to make any move until they know where they're drafting and or the playoffs unfold a bit further.

Not once has Mitch announced a trade or other move ahead of time. He's tight lipped. In fact, his default mode is denying rumors of any trades, like always. If there is a trade or not, don't expect Mitch to tell you which.

Fire BS today, please. Then sign Noah or Whiteside. Then Durant or Batum.

Hire coach based on new roster.

May the draft be what it is.

Please, BS, step down if you love the Lakers. These young Lakers need to believe. Believing is not possible with the worst coaching record ever. Sorry. But it's not.

The lakers tried the "hire a coach after free agency," it doesnt work out too well. Free agents like to know who theyre going to be coached by for the foreseeable future

On another subject

The more I watch Jeremy Lin play the more mad get. Last year Byron questioned his toughness and his game. Looks like Lin is proving him wrong this year.

I worry about what another season with Byron will do for the young guys. Maybe just maybe there is a chance that he can work these kids into shape without the distraction os Kobe's presence but his stint in Cleveland doesn't give me much hope.

Whiteside with a max contract here? No thanks.

No thanks.

His offense hasn't been useful since the NBA was on NBC.

If this ends up true can I say:
Byron was terrible and also did take one for the team.
My replacements remain:
Coach K
Ollie
Luke

and even though we are on 3 coaches of me thinking this the moment they are fired with increasingly worse results, I still think:
