Where would you draft them in this year's draft?

Russel perhaps a tad lower than top 5.

Randle
would still be a lottery pick.

Clarkson would sky rocket into the lottery for sure.

And Larrry Nance would definitely see some light in top 15.
It's weird but I value Nance over Randle.

Nick Young wouldn't be drafted.... :banghead: cough

Russell is still a 3rd pick at worst in the current draft.

Randle: would be slightly higher in the top 5

Nance Jr: top 18

Clarkson: top 10

Looks about right. Randle might move into the top 3 double double average in first year is impressive

Russell- 3rd, because he's the best PG/SG available
Randle-4th or 5th. I might consider Dragan Bender over him but probably no lower than no. 5
Nance-15ish
Clarkson- I'd probably take Buddy Hield over him simply due to his shooting ability; 6-10 range.

Russell would go #2, Randle #3.

Russell top 3
Randle 4th
Nance 15-20
Clarkson 10 or below

The draft is so weak after the top 2. I see Russell in the mix with Simmons and Ingram. Wouldn't be shocked if Randle was top 5 as well. Clarkson maybe top 10-15.

Are we talking about if they declared (and therefore aged appropriately) for the 2016 draft? Or based on their age when they were drafted?

The first scenario:

Russell #3
Randle #5-10
Nance #unknown
Clarkson #2nd round to undrafted (he'd be 24 before he played his first NBA game!)

The second scenario:
Russell #3
Randle #5 (after Bender)
Nance #25-35
Clarkson #10-15

This is about right, IMO.

I think some fans still have the tendency to downplay how talented Russell is. No way he goes lower than 3 in this draft and Buddy Hield wouldn't go higher than any of these guys

After his rookie season definitely top 10, maybe even top 5. Now he would no longer be a top ten pick.

Yes,there is definitely some serious home team player myopia going on here. I don't think anyone would give a top ten pick for any of our player. I'm not saying our players are not worth a ten pick. I think they are. But I don't think NBA writers and executives think they are worthy of being selected in the top ten. Again, a lot of it may be hatred and jealousy of anything Lakers. Randle didn't make the rookie/sophomore team. If you go by first team vote, D'Angelo finished 9th in the all rookie selection of his draft class. This is their way of saying that he was picked too high. If Clarkson was lottery pick, instead of a 2nd round pick, they would give him similar treatment.

Not even the biggest Celtic homer/Laker hater would say what you just said. You're telling me that a team would rather have Buddy Hield, Jamal Murray, or Deyonta Davis over Russell, Randle, or Clarkson?

I'm surprised how high we are on Russel around here. And equally surprised on how low people rate JC. I feel like JC is a way better player than everything on our roster. His potential isn't as high as Russel but hot damn.

I rate our players.

1. JC
2. Randle
3. Russel
4. Nance

Potential Ceiling

1. Russel
2. Randle
3. JC=Nance

No biggie doe. I hope they all turn into Kevin Durant, Westbrook types.

I would trade Clarkson for either Hield or Murray and I would trade Randle for Davis.

Russell: top 3
Randle: 10-15
Clarkson: 18-25
Nance: 18-25

I'm astounded that players that haven't even been drafted, who made their names in a league where 90% of the competition will never see an NBA court are so incredibly overrated while the young players on our team, that we know are proven commodities, that we've seen perform above expectations are dismissed so easily...

Now I want to see what he wrote now...

I think it'd be better if we all saw he wrote something crazy, even if it would be widely panned and ignored in the grand scheme of things
