Hope Anthony Brown finds some success soon. Dude needs the confidence.

Ingram with some nice passing this half.

Sorry to say it, but I don't think Anthony Brown is an NBA player at this point :-?

I'm curious on Lakers fans opinion on Russell as your team leader. I think he's going to be a good player, but he just doesn't come off as a leader. Just curious what you all think

Zubac really does look like he's going to be a steal. Plays so much like Marc Gasol

I think he has a ton of poise for a 20 year old. I think he's going to mature a lot this year and think he'll shape up into a fine leader.

One more pass to Ingram was needed there. Oh well.

Great showing from Ingram and Zubac is all I care about. I hope we can find some minutes for Zubac in the regular season.

teams have more than one leader... Kobe was a leader but then so were Gasol, Fisher....

Russell will grow into his role over the next couple years and then we'll know but he won't be the only team leader... there is never just one

I think this is a spot on assessment of him so far. It's not about maturity as much as overall mental approach. 2 separate things. He's going to mature but I'm not sure he will change that much in the overall mental approach.

On a top 4 or 5 team in the NBA he's your 3rd best player.

As someone mentioned he's poised for a 20 year old. I think he's just a confident MF'er. IMO, jury is still out if he's gonna be a great/good leader for the team, but i know he's doing all he can to lead, and talking a good talk. Lets see if the team responds and wins a few more games this year. So, for now I am good with what he's showing, lets see how the season goes. Ingram can eventually be a co-leader as well. One vocal leader (Dlo) and one "lead by example" leader (Ingram). He's 20 years old! I'm definitely willing to give him time while we aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Thought the coaches in this game (and last with Cavs), really like the play where they feed Zubac in the low post and have him bang his way towards the basket with his size. It seems to be a go-to play when they are in need of points and a staple play.

Think the coaches really like the pick and roll sets as well (mostly in the top, though there were a few on the side of the court in this game). They continue to use plays where they set double screens at the top so that scoring opportunities could be open.

It was nice to see a triangle offense play where they feed the center and have the corner and wing clear out in the second quarter, so it seems coaches are inserting new plays - though rare for each game. The above plays seem to dominate the bread and butter plays for the SL.

How do you define "good leader"? Was Kobe a good leader? Jordan, Shaq, Duncan, Dirk, Lebron, Wade, Curry, Garnett, Magic, etc? They're all players with vastly different personalities/styles and could all be considered good leaders because they won. It's a contrived term with no real quantification. If you're really good and you win, then you're considered a good leader.

I would give Ingram a B/B+. Fact is, that when he was bodied up and played physically, he was bothered and fumbled the ball numerous times, which resulted to a bad shooting percentage. Bottomline, he needs to get stronger (which we all knew) but, it definitely showed in summer league, and its summer league.

Lets go Ingram!!!! Pump that iron and eat that meat!!! Come into the season at 2hunnid!!!
