This is the most logical thing to do. I've been saying this before. Make him a defensive coach and make Ingram play against him during practice to toughen up Ingram.

At one point, weren't people saying MWP was going to kill luke if we acquired him?

bit more here... I like the idea as I've mentioned before, in today's league it's good to have some of that old school play until you die hard nosed mentality around the team...

I hope we make it happen, but from what I've read MWP kinda still wants to play. Not sure if any NBA team will take him, but I'm pretty sure he'll find something in China or Europe if he really want to keep it going.

I honestly don't really care if MWP sticks around as a coach. What's bigger to me is that this org still has it's soul as far as how it deals with it's own.

He would be a great extension of the coaching staff as far as having someone who can practice with the team, work with individual players, etc.

This is gonna come down to whether MWP is willing to give up his dream of playing 2 more seasons. Itd be a good move by both sides tho. Do it MWP.

I like T-Rob's on court contributions more than Yi's, but Yi has a more attractive contract as an asset... I think we need Yi's position more.

It's a tough call... But I think maybe keeping Yi and letting Robinson find a role on the court might make the most sense.

I've been split on these two throughout the preseason. Honestly, I think either way they go on this one is fine.

T-Rob: Brings a ton of energy and rebounding and could be a really good fit in the right system. But he's basically Tarik Black with less offensive skill.

Yi: Provides another 7 footer who can spread the floor. Has some 3pt range. But he's looked slow, and lost at times.

I've said T-Rob before but I think I'm leaning Yi at this point. He just provides something we don't already have. 7 footer who can stretch the floor.

Hope Metta works with Randle and his defense.
