It doesn't seem like we can because we now lost 2018... but just wondering.

2020 pick is now the earliest pick we can trade

in theory that pick shouldn't be that good (assuming we get PG next year or before then).

We should trade our 2020 first rounder, deng or mozgov for expiring contracts

Need to get rid of one of those contracts

It wouldn't be good regardless with the young players having a couple more years under their belts with improvement.

i wouldn't trade it so far in advance

imagine if we strike out in FA, and our team is still lottery?

if we strike it big in 2018 FA, then we might think about dumping some of our young kids and picks for that final piece (like Davis in 2019/20, when he can threaten to opt out if NO is doing no better than now)
