If Zo is healthy enough to give 10 mpg, I say sign him. What a great influence he would have on Bynum's low post defense.

I'm fine with Mbenga or a draft pick.... Alonzo will probly be like a GSW Chris Webber next year...

I'd really try hard to trade Mihm, if you could bring in Zo for the vet min, why not? good insurance and good defender. I'd like to try the mbenga experiment one more year.

Bynum
Mbenga
Mourning

for insurance purposes and matchup problems you have
Gasol
Turiaf* (FA)

I think thats do-able. I'm still down for bringing back Kwame for mid-level if he wants... call me crazy but I miss stone hands, at least he'll defend postup players well.

keep mbenga, hes quite funny. * or something so he gets really angry and starts hurting people, we need a bit of that nastiness in the middle.

*REMOVED INNAPROPRIATE COMMENT. Its bad enough that you would post such a thing its even worse that you dont know anything about DJ's background and family and where he came from and what his family has been through.

He can't stay healthy, you want him and Mihm on the DL next year?

Keep DJ! His jumper looks better every time I watch him and he has a semi decent hook shot going too. He sure has potential and he'll be good if he doesn't look to swat every shot in the paint. :D

Celtics fan here: Zo would be great for you guys. I am hoping that the Cs can steal him away too. But whenever I bring it up on the Celtics board it gets no love. Even a few years ago when he was better, still no love.

The thing is, Alonzo Mourning is a winner and a fighter. I remember when he was drafted right behind Shaq, I thought that would be the NBA finals many many times. Epic Shaq vs Zo battles. Indeed if his kidneys had held up and NY wasn't such a thorn in the heats side, maybe we could have seen it.

The only way I support you guys getting Zo is if we somehow get Shaq. I'm not one of those Cs fans who wants you guys to suck, I want both teams to be stacked and have a real feud again.

i like to see what mihm is capable of still....he showed as much potential before his injury as pretty much could be expected from zo at this point...

without all the rent-a-vet(hacksaw reference for ya'll) karma...

I think DJ will be much improved by next season. Keep him. His attitude is awesome, he's got the frame, and he does seem to have some developing touch.

Zo scares me for a number of reasons as a potential player.
