I have faith that Kobe will figure out this defense, just as he figured out how to get his against the Spurs despite the fact that he wasn't getting any calls. No way he has two games like this in a row.

I think you're going to see the Celts pull some stuff like this because they want to play Pierce and KG 40 minutes a game if they can. Don't be surprised when they start pulling the NFL tactic of laying down a little bit longer to stop the other team's momentum and catch their breath.

By the way ... Doc isn't smart enough to figure out that Perkins is going to kill the C's in this series. When he was out there, the ball movement was great and they got some easy open looks. The second he got injured is when the C's when on their run.

where is that "famed" killer instincts by jax and the "closer"? doc said in his huddle we are better than that team tonight, let's overcome adversity, bla bla bla .... jax OTOH, being the "9-time winner as coach" SHOULD HAVE outcoached or at least upped doc by telling his squad hey listen you effing tahds, their #1 guy is out and we are going to close this one out while we have a chance. bryant too shouldve taken advantage of the opportunity.

guess not. no killer instincts nor the drive in that gm 1 i guess.

That's right.

[color=blue]What's wrong is the forum. This is the Lakers board.

Heads up; keep the slightest smack talk off this board, please. The most insignificant tendency of trolling will be pounced on

Hey, guys. I didn't bother coming to the board for a couple of days (I came yesterday for a quick post), because the General Board makes me sick when we lose and I just kind of stay away. Tough loss, when we were up 62-58 and Pierce was off the court I swear I thought we had them... man, I was so disappointed I couldn't sleep even though it was around 6AM when the game ended. :(

Oh well, I hope they bounce back and beat them tonight.

Lakers!
