Prices for finals
I'm a celtics fan from Boston, now writing here to bash the lakers, I'm not into writing on other team walls to talk smack but heres my qn, what are prices like for games in L.A for a pair? Two seats in the balcony is running almost 7-800/pair in Boston, just wanted to compare. Should be a good series!

officially:

unofficially:
from my calculations of prices online (which should be about right) is a 10x multiplier for all seats (now going for about 300-400)
the multiplier fluctuates a bit for the other seats. but is still roughly about 10x the official amounts. hope it helps. and yes it will be a great series

I will be watching at home on my Direct TV 720p 40inch Sony Bravia HD DVR for $100 bones a month. No idea how some of those hooligans afford tickets. Hooligans like those foolios in that Spurs fan bashing thread. That was embarrasing as a Laker fan to see the Lakers fans piling on that one Spurs fan. Thursday can't get here soon enough. If the Lakers win game 1 it's gonna be a sweep, otherwise 5 games.

WTF!! You have to be absolutely rich to pay that for a basketball game. And to pay that and my team loses, I would be pissed.

To the OP: per LA Times.
Should the best-of-seven series, which begins tonight in Boston, go to a fifth game, that seat is available for $27,028. [...]
StubHub, an online ticket service, is offering the Father's Day special with up to eight individual seats available at the $27,028 price. For a group, a 44-person suite is being offered for $51,431. [...]
Tickets: According to StubHub, the average resale price for the Finals is $772 in Los Angeles and $547 in Boston. In last year's championship series, between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs, the average was $366 in Cleveland, $311 in San Antonio. (Face value for the most expensive seat at Staples Center for the Boston series is just under $4,000.)
