seems fishy to me and unless the OP gives more of a contribution to his thread I am going to lock this up.
Well, when the season was about to close, and MVP voting was ramping up, all I hear was "Kobe deserves the MVP, because he has no help on that team and they (he) won the West". If that is the arguement for voting for Kobe over Chris Paul and Kevin Garnett fine.
However, as soon as the Lakers dispatched the Spurs, all I heard was "The Lakers are the most talented team in the NBA and will win the title".
I just don't see how an writer with a clear conscience can make both statements in such a short span of time. It's not like the Lakers added three new players AFTER the end of the regular season.

Not sure where you saw that argument. Frankly, it sounds made up.
But I didn't realize that MVP actually means "best player on a crappy team." That must be why Dirk and Nash won it the last three years. Their supporting casts just suck!

Seems like your looking for the Majic beans here in Laker land.
Kobe is the MVP hands down, he led this team to the where it is today and he is leading this team to the Finals..........Oh by the way HE WILL WIN THE FINALS MVP TOO.
So with that out of the way, Kobe couldnt have made it this far without the help of his teammates, since this is a TEAM SPORT and it does require a coach, teammates since this is a TEAM SPORT to make it to the playoffs and the finals.
So I guess you can say that this team is talented since we are in the Finals, so Im confused with your thread as well.
What is the point of this thread?

I will tell you what they are and what level they are from top to bottom and I will even put them in order
Kobe-Best ever
Gasol-Allstar
Odom-perfect 3rd option to star
Bynum-Allstar
Fisher-Above average pg
Farmar-Above average pg
Sasha-above average 6th man or average starter
Luke-Average player
Ronny-hustle average or slightly below average role player
Radman-average 6th man, below average starter
Treva Ariza-Average role player
They got 6 above average players which is pretty deep.
Then they got some guys who can possibly fight for a 6th man award
4 players who probably shouldn't really be in the league to much longer

Actually, if you hear the quote it is obvious he is talking states; he mentions Alaska and Hawaii. I am also pretty sure he has been to a lot more the 57 cities.
I will be honest. I know that Barack Husain Obama knows how many states are in the Union. The problem is he can not do math.
Obama said. "Over the last 15 months, we

No question Allen and Pierce are Hall of Famers.
I just want to know in what alternate universe are stiffs like Tony Allen and Brian Scalabrine considered "above average," and Scot Pollard "good," or Eddie House and P.J. Brown as starters on other teams?
Dude makes Dexmor seem cautious and well-measured in his assessments, which is damn near impossible. With that much talent, how did the Celtics lose at all this season?
