I'll find my confidence from the fact that Kobe hasn't played like Kobe yet and we have still won 2 games against the best team in the league. Our defense cannot fall any lower than what it did today and we will tighten it up. One more game and after that its a battle of nerves. I bet KG and P2 will flinch before Kobe does.

on the contrary, i dont think our team has played up to our capabilities yet. so you don't think it's the other way around?: you guys were heavily favored to win this series even before it started, i believe in 6 gamex max, was it? and that our objective was to steal at least 1 from your home court. i still do think your defense cannot and will not change overnight. not after 5 straight games.

but...but....that's what has been said after at least 3 of the 5 games (if not 4). and i dont think this is the yr to make history. not this yr, not at the gahden. i just dont see it. another place, maybe. not trolling by any means, just sayin....

having said that, props to you guys for a good win tonight. good luck next game!

Nah, I'll take my chances against a team with 3 stars who haven't won a ring yet , look exhausted and might falter sooner than later.

PS: KG looked pretty uneasy shooting those last couple of FTs.

I think the pressure is on the Celtics to close the Lakers out in Game 6. The lakers hopefully will take advantage of it, coming off a win at home. The good thing for the Lakers is that Perkins is still doubtful for Game 6 and you guys seem to be a different team without him in the line up. I just think the Lakers have some advantages and I believe the can win in Game 6....

I also agree with others on the board, that your Big 3 is looking a little sluggish and tired. And Game 6 is in two games. I just think the Lakers are learning a lot from this whole series and there best game has yet to come...

If the Lakers figure out how to defend the pick&roll, they'll have a chance.
They really need to tighten up the D.
Hsitory can only be made if you play great D.
The Lakers have only done so in some stretches and not consistently.

I think they can make history.
It's a matter of will.

Let's do it. I think the Big Three (save Pierce) are starting to tire. Let's just hope the Boston Crowd doesn't re energize them. We can't have that. Going the limit in every series will wear on you eventually. We can use this to our advantage! One possession at a time boys!

phil and the coaching staff need to find some way to turn that PP and KG PnR into a KG pullup J

they do that, they stop PP from getting into the paint

Well the Celtics were favored to win the Finals before the season even started. Heck the Lakers were favored to not even make the playoffs.

it absolutely is the celtics in no way want a game 7, so they will have the pressure on them

The C's are at home. They are expected to win. That's alot of pressure.

I don't think most people expect the Lakers to win. I like that position for the Lakers.

Just get out there and relax.
Execute.
Play better pick & roll D.
Rebound.
Get off to a quick start.
Go to Lamar and Gasol early and often.
Our bench better come to play.

Let's go.

I think we can do it, as long as Pau and L.O are consistant.

Oh and Rad plays D ......... :noway:

pau and lamar do need to play like they did in game 5, that was good no one in foul trouble
pau making some aggressive moves, lamar working hard on the glass and stuff

keep it up

I agree...the lakers have yet to put together a complete game and still have 2 W's and chances in all 3 of the losses to win! just have to keep it close and steal it at the end. I do think kobe has the instinct to put a death blow into boston if given the opp! imagine if he hits a shot that wins game 6... how demoralizing it would be for the celtics?
I got a question why they hating on me....
