He would be a tremendous addition to this team. He plays the game the right way. He knows who he is as a player and he pursues perfection within that role. His defensive intensity would change the style of play this team runs. He is a great help defender and an excellent one-on-one defender, and more turnovers by the opponent leads to more fastbreak points. Showtime!

Kobe
Ariza
Posey
Turiaf
Bynum

That's one nasty defensive line-up.

Id love to have posey. But he opted out of a 3+ mill guarenteed deal to get more $$$$. So we'd have to atleast offer the full mle for him. Which is money we could use on sasha? If we could trade odom, and have posey and ariza play the bulk of the sf minutes. Intresting to see what happens.

Posey would obviously be an excellent addition, but it doesn't make much sense that Boston wouldn't vehemently attempt to keep him and/or that he wouldn't want to return to the team where he just won a title in.

since we own sasha's bird rights, we can re-sign him without impacting our cap and MLE

we can then go and use our MLE on whoever we choose
