Joe Crawford has some game, he should easily take Coby Karl's place on the team.

They said hes making the team...I don't know I'm not impressed. looks liek a overachieving senior not afraid to shoot. That UK team was terrible, they looked to this senior to guide them with 17 pt avg. 6-4 guard.

After how we just got our as$$es waxed by Boston, Karl couldn't help us next year....we need defense. I'd rather go with a hard-nosed player from a defensive oriented Kentucky team, then some softy from Boise State

darn im pissed off we should have gotten jamont gordon he was projected as the best point guard coming into the 2007-2008 ncaa season. I also would have liked us to get davon jefferson or do what boston did and bring bill walker here

IF you don't closely follow College B-Ball, then you won't know him. I love my laker fans, but sometimes we are very naive....it's the 58th pick, not a lottery pick. Kentucky plays enough on CBS and ESPN for people to have heard of him.

Anybody watch the Wildcats, never seen the guy play? I watch the pac-10 and the ACC pretty much exclusively. Anyone got his 4 year UK stats?

This is what expert ESPN draft mocker Chad Ford said...Crawford is a bit of a tweener as a combo guard. He played well in Orlando but I doubt he sticks in the league

6-4 SG UK... Hometown Detroit, MI...Ranked #92 out of 100, yet went #58, according to Chad Ford...

OK I found his stats. He can score, he can shoot the three a bit, not a fantastic athlete, but he is tough, he gets to the line. Scores, physical, gets to the FT line, but not a passer or a rebounder, a steal man, or an assist guy.

oj mayo, marko jaric, greg buckner, antoine walker to memphis for kevin love, mike miller, jason collins, and brian cardinal per sportscenter

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2008 ... id=3463045

Two league sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that will send the draft rights of Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.

The deal is a blockbuster for both teams. ESPN.com reported on Tuesday that the Wolves GM Kevin McHale was infatuated with Love, but felt that the team had to select Mayo and use him to acquire more assets.

In addition to landing Love, the Wolves get a sharp-shooting swingman in Miller who can help carry the scoring load from the perimeter. The deal is also a financial boon for the Timberwolves who get the bad contract of Jaric (three years, $21 million) off the books. Walker and Buckner's contracts are not guaranteed after this season.

MIN wins big WOW. Mayo and Love are of equal value to me. Well I had Mayo 2nd and Love 4th, and they get Mike Miller totally underrated, a fantastic player. I haven't been to a Laker game in a few years, i'm priced out, but I might pony up to see Love play, just a joy to watch that cat play the game of bball.

maybe that was one of the reasons they decided to get rid of Love. They knew that their Gay-Love just wouldn't work out

Joe Washington tells me Mitch was looking for a scorer off the bench that isn't afraid to drive, and that can score and get to the FT line. Tough minded out of Detroit, MI. Good backup if Sasha bounces for that max contract.
