couldn't tell you, but apperently the Clipps f***ed over the agent some time a go on a Bibby transaction. I am not familiar with said transaction so I don't know what to make of it.

I don't get it, do the Clippers not have Brand's cell number or something?

Re FALK
see my first point on the initial post - Falk made Brand think the Clippers were holding out on the offer and could've offered more... we now know that they were as close as they could be to the Philly offer and did not hold back anything. He (Falk) has been insignificant for about 6 or 7 years now and wants to be a 'player' again.

I think Baron has a justified pretext to renege on the verbal agreement with the Clippers, allowing the Warriors to sign and trade him to the Lakers.

according to elton brand the clippers didn't step up their offer from 70 mil to 81 mil until he had already committed to the sixers.

He hadn't signed w Philly.
He came back to the Clips w Phillys 79m offer and the Clips, after lowballing him at first, came w 81m via conf call.
Brand (w Falk) said add 1 thing and he'd stay - NTC!
Clips said no and (rumored) Andy Roesser said on speakerphone in the background 'I don't care if he stays or goes' which apparently was the last straw for Brand.

The Clippers didn't let Brand walk. He decided that for himself.
