Josh Powell's contract

Post#1 » by lake_fan24 » Sun Sep 14, 2008 7:21 pm

hey ive been wondering, since the lakers signed him, does that mean his contract is guaranteed, not like a d-leaguer such as joe crawford, cj giles, dwayne mitchell, etc, a player they signed off season thats not a training camp signee?

Why didn't they just sign Juwan Howard. They probably could have gotten him for the same price or still could get him really cheap. One might even say in the playoffs Howard might be better then Ronny.

He is no Ronnie, but if he can give us 5 points and 5 rebounds a game and some energy, that will be fine.

I think if people are going to make a big deal about Ronny Leaving, then they should also make a big deal about getting Josh Powell

he IMO is better than if not the same as Ronny
