Teams that have had success against us in the past were obviously physical teams and teams with quick penetrating point guards. The only team I fear this year would be the Hornets. They were the only team that I was hoping we wouldn't face last year as CP3 absolutely penetrates at will and David West punks Lamar every time. Sure it's going to be different now that Pau is going to guard him, but Chris Paul is a pest.

I am scared of the Blazers the most. They gave us all the trouble we can handle last year. This year, they added Oden, Fernandez, and their players got older.

It remains to be seen how Bynum does when he goes up against centers who are as big and as strong as himself. He had trouble with Perkins last year.

Is this implying that it remains to be seen what Bynum would be able to do against Oden? A player that is similar to him?

No. Bynum didn't struggle against Perkins, that's just stat sheet reading if you figure that. The Lakers struggled against Garnett which caused Bynum to double KG leaving Perkins wide open for the rebound or for a pass. If you want to talk about Bynum going against similar size, just look at what he did against Dwight Howard, Kaman, and Eddy Curry. He more than held his own against some of the biggest centers in the league. With Bynum its not about the stat sheets because if you looked at him vs Kaman and Howard and even Amare their stats looked decent, but big Bynum really put them out of their element when you're talking about flow of the game (and the Lakers getting W's with defense).

Well put. Can't wait to see Bynum and Oden go toe to toe. Even if the Blazers don't provide the challenge we were quite hoping for this yr. We still know that their will be many future epic battles betwn us in the yrs to come. Possibly a new rivalry in the western conf!
