Maybe the Pacer game was a wake up call. We should never loose a 15 point lead. Lets see if Phil can use this game to shake things up. We will win the west. I really do not care if we go for some record amount of wins, that will only burn this team out. We will loose 20 games or so, that still gives us 62 wins. Boston will loose more games. It is only the nature of the game.

win 7, lose 1...if the Lakers can keep that up all season it'll still get them to 70-10 with 2 games to go

Let's see how this team responds one night after collapsing...

Here's to paying attention to defense and getting tough. Our offense is already the best in the league.

I'd say we develop some grit on this road trip. You know... maybe start telling dead baby jokes and growing some beards.

with the defensive embarrassment that was yesterday and the offensively challenged sixers, i expect the lakers to give up 90 points or less and score 100-109

i hate back to back games... but a schedule is a schedule.
After losing by only one lucky dinky point. I see them being more eager to win back the streak and be more focused on their defense.

Go lakers!!

game time! gasol/bynum better outperform brand/dalembert. brand can't post up either gasol or bynum and dalembert doesn't really have a consistent outside shot.

they need to give iggy that shot and not rush at him. young is the only starter that can hit a 3.

uhh me thinks this 3game road trip is going to be a defining point in our season, at least young season.

regarding our poor point guard defense...

I think with fisher and the starting lineup he should guard SGs, for whatever reason fisher does pretty well guarding players taller than him, he gets a little physical, etc. Throw Kobe on pgs... of course this isn't the best solution, but maybe give it a try.
