I'm just tired of seeing all this "Beat LA" nonsense. This should be the chant in staples every game. Whoever goes to Lakers games, start up this chant! It needs to catch on and I wanna see it on Lakers Live haha.

concerning vladi, i dont think its his defense thats the problem... in fact, its been vladi who has been picking up the new defense the easiest amongst all the lakers...

its now an issue of moving the ball around in the triangle offense when the shot isnt on offer...

vladi requires time to think about his decision, isnt automatic on his options and passes and the offense tends to stagnate a bit when the ball swings to vladi, leading to a good shooting percentage, but not much else...

with walton, even tho he doesnt bring the %PCT, he not only gets more assists, but if you try to count the pass that lead to the pass that creates the assist, he gets a lot of those as well

The guy was always "fat skinny" in the sense that he probably ate junk food and stayed skinny. I've followed him for a while and he NEVER had good conditioning. it might have changed when he joined the Lakers, but with the Grizzlies the guy was out of breath after 4 minutes of playing. Stamina increases if you lift weights, so I guess he will be a better conditioned athlete.

gasol came into the league avg'ing 37 mpg taking home the ROY award. he even had a season where he avg'd over 39 mpg. there are currently only 3 players in the league avg'ing over 39 mpg, and they're all guards. that should give a little perspective on being out of breath after 4 minutes.
