so how did the mavs come back? our defense rear its ugly head again?

ariza had a great game, kobe is clutch

lamar lost focus there at the end

yay lakers win

Mavs down 10, stole the ball at the end of the 3rd, Terry hit a deep buzzer beating 3.
Start of the 4th, Terry hits another 3, Laker scrubs can't shoot, Mavs keep scoring, build a 6 point lead.

Then Kobe and Ariza came back into the game :)

i don't think sasha makes 5 million a year

and you just want to dismantle half the team because they let a lead slip away?

Ditto

Odom though, at least has SOME admirable qualities (ie rebounding, "decent" defense, very good back up big).

Walton, Vujacic, and Morrison are worth the minimum but paid FIVE TIMES more.

Change soon gwan come.

Really worried about Sasha and Farmar right now. Sasha had multiple good looks and he clanked all of them. He needs to find his stroke. Hopefully Bynum/Odom can give the bench a lift when Drew comes back.

A win's a win, though. What a game by Trevor Ariza. What I loved; he never settled for the jumper at the end of the game. He pump faked and took it to the basket, scored. A year ago, that pump fake would have never worked. Great game by Ariza.

Big game by Kobe too. He got only 5 assists, but he played a really unselfish game. Couple big threes in the fourth to give us some life.

At halftime Carlisle was talking about putting more guys on Pau.

I didnt get to watch the game from the start but it looks like Ariza shows that he deserves to be a starter.

You're right. And by the way, the Radman trade was GREAT!

Morrison, however, is still overpaid (along with Vujaic and Walton) and should be shipped out this off-season.

According to this, he does make 5 mil a year on average. Which, even his biggest fan would have to agree is overpaying him.

I am not just talking about one lead being blow away as this has happened more than a few times this season alone. Is this the first time Vujacic has been playing like absolute crap? Not since he got his contract. How frequent does Farmar have a decent game? Once a month or so. Walton has been decent but far from worth the money for 5 mil a year. And Odom has cost us countless games over the years with his brain dead plays down the stretch.

If we just want to be a good team, having these guys producing inconsistently is fine. But if we want to be a dynasty, we need consistency and mental toughness. All of which the players I mentioned above lack. Having more talent without heart isn't that much better than having no talent at all.

Yeah, if only we can dump him. No one was willing to give him that this past offseason he was threatening to go play overseas. Hopefully he either starts playing better or gets dumped on another team.

At this point, we might be better off. Resigning Odom and Ariza and dumping Sasha while resigning Shannon Brown for 1 mill/1 year with an option for a 2nd year.
