Of course, bringing back Odom and Ariza. Besides that, we need a damn terrific shooter.

We don't have a chance at Mike Miller as long as Kevin Mchale is still running the T-Wolves because he hates us.

Retain our free agents, have Derek Fisher retire, acquire Acie Law to be the new third-string PG, draft Danny Green in the 2nd round, and draft a SF in the first round. With that done maybe look into a solid defensive 3pt big man.

So true, good thing he isn't running the show anymore. I'm a fan of the wolves and lakers so KG going to the celtics was just a dagger in my heart. If he had gone to the Lakers then my two favorite players would have been teamed up and I would have loved it. We all know how that whole situation played out, it really couldn't have been worse for me.

How about Farmar, Vujacic, and Morrison for Mike Miller? I love that for the Lakers but I don't like it that much from the wolves side, if Vujacic can turn it around it would make some sense though.

But then Hinrich isn't happening, Lakers wouldn't have the contracts to make a trade work.

But yea, Mike Miller would be great for the Lakers, he could easily replace what Vujacic and Farmar bring to the table and then some.

we ain't gettin mike miller for the pieces we'd be willing to give up...
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Mitch's Summer-09 To Do List

1. Keep Odom,
2. Keep Ariza,
3. Threaten to trade Bynum (to get him to workout ALL summer)
4. Spend the MLE on a PG,
5. Talk with Fisher, perhaps he would be better staying home with his daughter and family.
6. DO NOT trade Farmar, even if we got Kidd, we need a future PG
7. Talk with Phil, ask him to make some actual plays for Pau and Bynum, when they are on the floor together.
8. Tell Morrison to try out for the World Poker Tour, his never changing expression would be awesome there.
9. Play or dump the Chinese guy.
10. Mbenga = Mbye-bye
11. If we cannot get a decent player with our #1 pick, trade it along with Morrison...

Agreed ... but keep Mbenga (good cheap help) and dump Farmar if we can get a guy like Calathes instead (first round pick).

Also, definitely explore Walton and Morrison to NY for Curry if NY is open (they will be).

Let's not forget keeping Shannon Brown either.

^Whatever man. As long as he is costing the team upwards of ten million per year, he is expendable.

the only untouchable player on this team is Kobe.

-Gasol is likeable.

-Odom is a good player that can be a really really good player.

-Bynum for Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon? ;)

-Sasha will either help us win the title or be sent to the NBDL.

-Walton will have to develop a sweet jumpshot

-Ariza gotta pack on 10lbs of muscle and keep improving on his jumpshot.

-I'll wrap this up sometime, ttyl.
