the crowd at game 7

Post#1 » by TruSkool » Sun May 17, 2009 9:37 am

will it be rowdy?? we need as much crowd support as we can get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we need the crowd, not the players, to get into the ref's ears.
LA crowds are known to be weak compared to the rest of the nba....will game 7 be different? i know ill be going buckwild in front of my tv screen...
if any of you are going to game 7, i dont care if your in section 336, YOU NEED TO BE LOUD, RAUNCHY, AND UNCOOPERATIVE!!!!!!! please.

LA hasn't real and loud crowd. I have never seen this in the Staples Center.

You haven't been paying attention, then. No question we have a generally laid-back and inattentive crowd. But for big games, they definitely get locked in. It will be raucous today at Staples, guaranteed.

Last game 7 in Staples was the epic 2000 lakers/blazers showdown, crowd will be ready, it's going to be a great atmosphere.
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

i hope the crowd is locked in,but in the end it's our players that ave to answer the bell. the more i think about it i am getting more confident. this entire series we have bounced back after losing, and i look for the guys to lay it all on the line today....
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

When Jack has to do something to incite the crowd, you know it's not a game 7 atmosphere.

*sigh*

Well we're up by 20, and that's all that matters.

Jack had to stand up and ask them to cheer. That's all you need to know.

The 1st quarter crowd was great but then everyone started looking at each other losing their composure and cheering and getting excited and then everyone had to prove that they had more class than the person next to them (and better cloths, better connections a better house and a better car) and then it was lame.

See you at game 5 at the WCF
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

it is what it is, your not going to change the nature of the beast. LAKER fans at home just dont go crazy into it. especially like ive seen when i visited boston garden, just nuts for a simple 3pter.

it sucks. and thats just how its going to be.

It was horrible, I would make sure my voice was heard from the upper sections.

Man oh Man... I think Nuggets, at this point, are gonna be much more than what the Cav's can dish out. Lakers will probably have a tougher series against the Nuggets. I am not saying we take out the Cavs but after all that we been through and seeing the holes the Cavs have.. I think winning the Nuggets will be a sweeter victory after it's all said and done and Lakers win it all.

Its not who they play. Its the finals. Lakers fans won't settle for being the Buffalo Bills. They are waiting for the finals. We need the rings this year. The fact that we lost to two eastern conference teams the past two times makes people want revenge.

No doubt, but I am saying we should take this Nuggets team hard. Lakers play like they did in game 5 all the time while Bynum and Gasol dominate the inside like game 7. Nuggets have nobody to really dig into Kobe, he's gonna get inside and get Nene, Martin, Birdman into early foul trouble. That's a given. But by doing this Kobe can create for Bynum, Gasol and Odom. It's gonna be awesome because Nuggets are more legit than the Cavs, if you consider their personnel comparatively. I think it's gonna be Lakers vs Magic in the Finals... Not bad at all.
