Our team has a propensity to flow when ever we cough up the ball.. This creates open 3 on 2s and 4 on 5s at the other end.
All our players cant be so off balanced that they fall so easily , the only thing that explains it is they flop. This is a character of all the Lakers players from the most exp Kobe to the least exp Bynum.
In Game 3 of the WCF we has atleast 3-4 occasions where the player took a flop in hope of getting a call.
Somehow our coaching staff needs to look at this and put a stop to these useless flops, they are not calling cheap fouls in this playoff ,we have to recognize it..

Foul calling was pretty much even, if anything some Frags were missed, otherwise i have no issues with the foul calling, it is our flopping i hate..

Kevin really? What game are you watching an old LAL V. SAC series VHS tape?
Keep an eye on Chauncey he did it for you twice last night, he's a master. The three in the corner, KB24 got called for the foul in the last few minutes of the fourth, it looked like Chauncey got hit with a cannon ball from the side immediatly after he shot it, it's so convincing, he received no contact from KB24 it was all a used car sale. He did it again in the closing minute, it takes amazing skill and concentration, never seen anything quite like it.

I saw both the Billips flops, but i dont think thats a ideal way of playing. The Refs will usually give Kobe , Chancey , Melo those calls, but when the bigs like Lamar and Bynum do it looks clearly like a flop and will rarely get the call..
Instead it gets turned into a fast break..

Fa sho..
And btw, flopping is a weak way to play basketball.
Sometimes when I see Sideshow Bob and basketball zones, I'm thinking, what happened to the NBA?
It's more like the WNBA now.
Last night was a mixture of both: ticky tac fouls and of course, hardcore fouls from the "thuggets".
Post players have been domesticated, and the power game has been limited to perimeter game; Lebron, Wade, Kobe.
I'm not sure Shaq in his prime would be able his prime averages in this zoned out league now.
Nvm. There aren't any real centers left in the game anyways.
Good job, dave.
You're a genius.

Maybe, It's a way of not getting so embarrassed. Sometimes when you're blocked or you turned the ball over, you don't wanna be called stupid.

I'm just happy Lakers don't do this
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker
Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

flopping continually hardens your @ss (trust me, i was pre-med for half a semester--3 years ago). this is an ingenious plan by the zen master to stop our soft play.
Warspite:
Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

dude don't say that. you're gonna ruin this thread with your immature comments about the refs. please don't blame your mistakes on the refs. This series is being called fairly.
