And I'd like to start this thread with the news that Sean Avery has been waived by the Rangers. I hope he doesn't get picked up, I can't stand the guy and I hope he nevers plays in the league again. But I doubt that happens someone will pick him up.

Can't wait. Hopefully I get more hockey with the NBA lockout.

Lol, Bruins owner is getting booed. Good to see the hardcores are still there, and outweighing the pink helmets.

Leafs look like a completely different team here in the 2nd. They're skating better and playing the body.

B's are getting all the calls, but Bryz is playing well. Man it's weird to see them with a goalie who can actually make a save.

Interesting that when they go to commercial they have NHL NBC with the peacock logo for VS. Really promoting the hell out of NBC Sports Network.

Second one's not on him, but you could hear air deflating on the first one.

Thought Buffalo would be good, but early in the season they look like the best team in the East.

I'm shocked too. Regehr and Ehrhoff have been great for them through two games.

Wild looking good, granted it's against Columbus. Spurgeon and Scandella had a sweet goal on the power play rush. They basically blew by the forwards and did it themselves.

The crowd is great. They're going to go nuts for the first Winnipeg goal.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'
