Hey, just out of curiosity, when is Ward expected back?

Ward is gone for at least 4 more weeks we think. Canes lose to Tampa Bay and with the WPG win tonight, WPG takes over the Division lead.

Wow, I had no idea Winnipeg's record was that good. Still, Carolina is only a point behind with a game in hand. They still control their own destiny.

Rangers beat Canes in a SO, but the point earned gives Canes back the Divisin lead. They are tied with WPG at 32 pts. This will be an exciting race right to the end. WPG is playing some very good hockey.

Last year on here or somewhere else I wrote that I thought Marchand's cup run was the best we'd see from him, and he'd eventually cool off and be a third line player. Boy was I wrong, and glad I was. He's become one of the Bruins best players.

Bad night for the Canes. Lose at home to FLA and fall 2 pts behind WPG who won. And Canes lose 3 Defensemen in the loss. Ouch!

Alexander Semin has played well for the Canes. And they just extended him 5 yrs at $7 mil/yr.

Not a fan of what the Pens gave up for Murray and Morrow. I like the additions they overpaid.

Jets taking command of the Division by going into Raleigh and whipping the Canes. 4 - 1 late in the 3rd.

This is awesome. Iginla was the first opposing hockey player that ever wowed me in person. Now he's about to be a bruin. Something Boston's been asking about since 2004.

Meh happens. Hard to get overly pissed, seems like no one ever wants to come to Boston in any sport.

Leopold to the Blues for a 2nd and conditional 5th. Pretty good return for the Sabres and Leopold fills a massive void for the Blues.

I have a feeling the Sabres are going to start cleaning house and I think we might see Ryan Miller dealt before the deadline.

Down goes Crosby until the playoffs possibly. No sign of a concussion though.

Canes have lost 5 straight at home now. Blow a 2-0 lead and lose 5-3 to the Capitals. Fail to take advantage again of another WPG loss. Carolina is doing their best to NOT make the playoffs. Very disappointing considering the off season moves and trades they have made. I know people will blame losing Cam Ward for several weeks, but this team is better than they are playing.

The Oilers are at different level right now. The offense is unstoppable, Dubynk has been hot and the defense has been decent enough. This blowout against the Flames makes it five in a row.
