Hard for me to root against Pittsburgh. Several buddies from Fan Nation who are die hard Pens fans and they have one of my favorite former Stars players in Trevor Daley. And - there's Sid.

First things first. Finish Ottawa!

For the CS award?

It was either Crosby, or Malkin for me. Crosby was amazing all playoffs(besides almost getting his head took off in the Caps series), also played great in the finals. He's the best player on the ice every game. His game 6 performance was just great.

Guentzel was amazing, but didn't show up last series. Also got to credit Crosby for helping him play so great.

People forget that the CS is an award for the entire postseason, not just the Finals. If Finals only, you could make a case for Murray or Guentzel

I'll just leave this here. At best it should have been Malkin. But Guentzel had so many clutch goals when the Pens needed them...

4:00 PM today - Protected lists submitted
9:00 AM tomorrow - Lists are made available to the public
9:00 AM June 21 - Las Vegas submits their selections.

If "stuff" going to happen, today is the day.
