I'm too lazy to re-type something I put on Twitter. I hope you all don't mind.

Full disclosure, I'll throw stuff on the boards that is still very loose. The stuff that goes on Twitter has a little more meat behind it.

Did Windhorst really report that Wade's people reached out to Spurs and Mavs? Really? He doesn't seem like a Spur and the history with Dirk isn't really good.

So much noise, but no chance he actually leaves Miami right? I mean they would have to REALLY piss him off to make him leave.

yeah I can't see it really. The only thing I can think of is if Pat Riley draws a very hard line in the sand on his contract. Which I do think is possible. I think Miami wants to make sure they lock up Whiteside or add one more big piece this summer with an eye on adding another major piece next summer. And maybe they don't think they can make it work with Wade and at his age they won't give him the money he wants?

At the end of the day I imagine he stays. But interesting choice of teams if the report has legs. I wouldn't have pegged either of them.

Maybe I'm imagining things, but I seem to recall this is exactly what happened the last time Wade was FA. The Heat played hardball, Wade reportedly poked around to call Riley's bluff, and unsurprisingly they worked things out anyway. I suspect the same is happening again.

This is a welcome development, my understand was that Batum re-signing with Charlotte was the first domino to fall. I really do not want the Lakers shutting down business until Durant makes a decision.

And Zach Lowe the legend drops some bombs on us!

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/16621548/when-clock-strikes-midnight-friday-nba-contracts-flying-shelves

Interesting stuff on Horford:

The Hawks are reluctant to offer Horford the fifth year only they can dangle, and if they hold firm, they are at grave risk of losing him for nothing, per league sources. Watch out for the Pistons on Horford; with Wednesday's trade of Meeks, they are one tiny move away from being able to fit his max. They are working to schedule a meeting with Horford over the first 48 hours of free agency, sources say.

Grizz think Conley will be back:

the Grizzlies are almost as confident about re-signing Conley as they were with Marc Gasol last offseason.

Philly is looking at RFAs, but Dion interest perhaps overstated?

Philly might kick the tires on glossier moves, including Barnes and the East Coast relocation of Waiters Island -- though reports of the Sixers' interest in Dion Waiters during former GM Sam Hinkie's administration were always bogus, per several league sources.

Toronto and Philly working on a deal?

The Raptors will need to move at least one big deal to have any hope of retaining both DeMar DeRozan and Biyombo, and teams will call about DeMarre Carroll. Toronto has already approached Philly about a deal sending out a rotation player -- perhaps Terrence Ross, and other goodies -- in exchange for Nerlens Noel, who could then assume Biyombo's backup center role, according to league sources. The talks haven't gained much traction yet.

There's more than that. Follow the link.

Per WT the Rockets are interested in bringing back Howard which is a hilarious rumor.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

There's some weird rumors about the Pistons going on.

Horford: Takes the entirety of our cap space, one would assume (actually, we'd need to move another small salary, such as Bullock), leaving nothing for the very important backup PG that we definitely don't already have.

Batum: Even weirder. At least Horford is a big upgrade as the starting PF. Batum is certainly the best 3 we have, but he's not that much better than Morris, and "mid-size wings" is the one thing the Pistons have an absolute boatload of already (Morris, Harris, Johnson, Bullock, Gbinije). Given that Batum is almost certain to get a 4 year max deal, this makes zero sense for the Pistons. Batum as PG for 16 minutes a game? That'd be some pretty radical thinking by SVG.

I mentioned this elsewhere, before that report came out. It is interesting because the Waiters to Philly angle has been pushed extremely hard by Waiters camp for a long time now, and up until now there was just no reciprocation at all.

I have no idea if Colangelo changes all that however, but having seen to take all these Waiters Philly reports as a player pipe dream versus team interest before, I definitely have him going to Sac and not Philly.

You can sign a backup pg with the room exception, an if you get Horford, it is a great move to do that and sign whoever with the smaller mle.

What PG can we likely get with the room exception? It's really important to have a quality player there -- Reggie runs everything on offense and seems exhausted playing 32 minutes a game, so this is someone running the show a third of the time. Steve Blake was the guy last year, and we can't have that disaster again if we're gunning for 50 wins and HCA in the first round.

Lakers and Suns to reportedly pursue Knicks F Derrick Williams.

Honestly, you can have a disaster there and I still love the move. Backup pg is a lot easier to upgrade even if you have to wait and do it at the trade deadline/next year, while getting a top notch starting pf is very hard to do. Lin was signed for that much last year. Someone will fall through the cracks.

So, um, Ronnie Price. Ronnie Price and Horford would be an amazing offseason for Detroit. Or dream big -- Donald Sloan. The world is your oyster.

Per the wiretap; Raps tried to get Noel with a package headlined by Terrence Ross. LOL. I like Ross more than most, but wow, seems like every team is lowballing the Sixers

Noah's mum and sister live in NYC and he's from there so its a convenient rumour, especially since both Phil and Hornaceck like centers who can facilitate from the elbows.
