You mention injury prone Martin but you're offering us Biedrins

Judging by the posts Yao is not valued due to injury concerns.

It is really nice of you to offer to take Les Alexander's cash cow off his hands...and to be so gracious as to relieve Houston of the burden of Kevin Martin & Trevor Ariza...but ultimately I think that Houston says no because you lowballed us by not offerring a protected 2014 second round pick.

I'm a fan of Biedrins and all but... really? Biedrins and an expiring? Are you aware of how many expirings we already have? I find it hilarious how you criticize Yao about his injury concerns and then offer Biedrins.

And you want Martin/Ariza as well? Wow this just keeps getting better and better.

LOL at the trade, saying Martin has negative value, and saying the Rockets should rebuild.

Exactly. Even if yao's leg fell off, Rockets still make money. Chinese fans watch Rockets games, they have deals to show their games in China, these people buy rockets merchandise. Mcgrady was getting all star votes because of the chinese.

Cash cash cash cash. Yao is probably the best deal in the whole NBA, as he pays for his whole contract even when sitting out injured.

WHEN healthy, he might have to most value in the league.

Not for what he brings on the court, but for what he brings to the team's owner pockets.

1,000,000,000 + fans along with him.

With that being said, On the court when hes still healthy, hes a top 10 value either way. Number 2 center in the league (WHEN HEALTHY). The question is, can he stay on the court.

The NBA and his new team would LOVE for Yao to be traded from a sales point of view.. can you imagine the revenue his new teams jersey would bring in from china! WOW! not to mention from a teams stance of international marketing... Yao is a goldmine waiting to be found in these tough times

As others have mentioned. Yao is a cash cow. You dont trade him even if he does not play he brings in significant revenue which exceeds his salary.

Houston revenue can be only offset if they trade him for a superstar (since that wont happen) Makes no sense in trading your cash cow for role players

I often wonder, despite the talk, how much actual revenue the Rockets get from China due to Yao.

China does knock offs of Rolex and Gucci,so doing a knock off Yao jersey would be pretty easy.
