No thanks. We're already going to be a player in 2012 if we want to amnesty Brand next year, so why give away Iguodala in the process? The goal seems to be proving we're just a star away from being contenders, letting the young guys develop, then making a big move next year.

As I've probably said 100 times, if we're trading Iguodala a long term starter needs to be involved. If someone isn't willing to pony that up, we're perfectly happy keeping him.

As some others have mentioned, it doesn't seem like the new ownership wants to rebuild. They're trying to get the city excited about basketball again, and tanking doesn't usually do that.

List of guys since we all know you love making trades:
Harden (dreaming)
Wes Johnson + _____
Klay Thompson + _____
Brook Lopez
Paul George
Rudy Gay (I'm gonna suggest it until it catches on. Iggy / Gay / Monta 3 way)
Minny 1st

Is this a serious suggestion?

Anderson, Duhon, Q.Rich for Iggy and Brand. The only appealing thing is the extras.

The "taking on Brand" thing isn't as enticing as it used to be since we could simply amnesty him. So basically, it's a pretty weak return on Iguodala, coupled with helping a division rival land Dwight Howard... Easy no from Philadelphia.

As much as we'd all like to help the Nets out and eviscerate our own roster so we can play against Dwight 6 times are year on top of it...I'm going to have to say no from the Sixers perspective.
