Toronto Raptors

PG Kyle Lowry / Jose Calderon / John Lucas III
SG DeMar DeRozan / Terrence Ross / Alan Anderson
SF Landry Fields / Linas Kleiza
PF Andrea Bargnani / Ed Davis / Quincy Acy
C Aaron Gray / Amir Johnson / Jonas Valanciunas

Aaron gray started last year and provided some solid play for us but hopefully our rookie Big Valley will take the spot from him sooner rather than later.

The rotation at 4/5 is not set, players are interchangeable. Same with the 2/3 spot. Kleiza will also probably spend some time at the 4 if need be.

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES UPDATED

Rubio/Ridnour/Barea
(Roy)/(Shved)/Ellington/Lee
Budinger/Johnson/Hummel
Love/Williams
Pekovic/(Steimsma)

Lots of things in the works so regular updating will be necessary.

Roy, Shved, and Steimsma have agreements in place, just no official signing yet.

A deal sending Ellington to Memphis for Cunningham is in limbo but apparently still on the table.

Why do you think Freeland is starting?

I don't think anyone knows who is starting out of Hickson/Freeland/Leonard. It's kind of a toss up.

I'd say Leonard. Hickson should be the sixth man.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Irving/Sloan
Waiters/Gibson/Azubuike
Casspi/Walton
Thompson/Samuels/Harangody
Zeller/Varejao

RFA - Gee, QO tendered, will liekly be the starting SF.

Nuggets:

McGee/Mozgov/Koufos
Faried/Harrington/Randolph
Gallinari/Chandler/Brewer
Afflalo/Hamilton/Fournier
Lawson/Miller/Stone

Deepest team in the league. This team can run and now has the size and rebounding it needed. Now it is a question of scoring, but with Ty Lawson's ability to penetrate and the ability to shoot the rock, they're in a good place...

You think Varejao loses his job to Zeller???

Varejao only started out of necessity, with his age and with Cleveland being in the middle of a rebuild, it makes more sense to start Zeller if he can handle it. Varejao is best suited as a super sub that receives starter's minutes.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Houston's a giant clusterf, but I think it looks like this:

Lin/Livingston/Machadoo
Martin/Lamb/Douglas
Parsons/Jones/Forbes/Morris
Patterson/Motiejunas/White/Jajuan/Aldemir
Asik/Harrelson
But do you know what they call a fool, who's full of himself and jumps into the path of death because it's cool?

Varejao excels at being the "third" big. He'll play a good amount of minutes but hopefully this will keep him healthy and then traded.

update:
Irving/Sloan/Pargo
Waiters/Gibson/Azubuike
Casspi/Walton
Thompson/Leuer/Samuels/Harangody
Zeller/Varejao

Gee/Miles as starting SF

Fight between Sloan/Pargo for 12 minutes at backup PG
Can Azubuike play?
Is Kevin Jones going to cause someone else to be waived?

How many players have been on the Rockets this summer? 25?

I put freeland in for the sake of having a 'starting lineup' though I would agree that its a very tentative lineup right now. I give Freeland the slight edge at least immediately because he counters LA's game pretty well and he's already played in the second best league in the world so he has more professional experience than Leonard. Leonard could just as easily start theoretically but if I had to guess, Hickson is gonna be a sixth man and Leonard will probably be brought along slowly whereas Freeland can bring us more of an instant impact.

That's not a bad lineup, though I do question whether Kirilenko is an SF (some Utah fans seemed to think he was more of a PF). I think Pek might make or break the wolves. He clearly has potential and I think his development more than anything else will determine the Twolves' success. Roy is a big question mark (ask any Blazer fan, myself included) though the fact that his deal is non-guaranteed next season should be a big help for the t wolves.

Denver Nuggets:

Lawson, Miller
Afflalo, Brewer, Fournier
Chandler, Gallinari, Miller
Faried, Harrington
McGee, Mozgov, Koufos

Trading Gallo and Koufos for a nice PF and we can talk about it though...

Dallas Mavericks

Collison, West, Roddy B
Mayo, Dahntay Jones, West
Marion, Carter
Nowitzki, Brand
Kaman, Wright, Brand

Solid enough, except the SF spot, since Marion is 34 and Carter is totally useless now.
I didn't include 3 of our rookies, because they are most likely to play in the D-league (aka "Carlisle's doghouse).
