KOTB: Celtics-Wolves-Bucks

Post#1 » by NewWolvesOrder » Sat Nov 17, 2012 3:22 pm

Celtics trade Lee and Fab Melo for Barea and Udoh

Bucks trade Udoh and a pick(top 20 protected thru 5 years) for Williams

Wolves trade Williams and Barea for Lee, Melo and Bucks pick.

* the trade can happen for after Dec. 15

Celtics get a backup PG who reunites with Terry to wreck other teams benches. Udoh gives them a good backup PF/C which looks like a need for this team.

Bucks have enough defensive minded centers on that roster so converting one of them into offensive minded PF may not be a bad idea. They throw in a protected pick bacause DWill has higher upside.

Wolves get a SG that can shoot form outside, a big need. He also knows Adelman' system. They also cut some salary going forward. Melo is project big that can allow them to cut Steimsma next summer further cutting salary. The pick is cherry on top.

Its perfect for Boston as they give Lee for 2 pieces that fit them much better. JJB would help their offense so so so much.

Its great for the Bucks too who give up their 5th big and an expiring contract and a late pick they wont likely lose for years to come to take a chance on a prospect with a high ceiling.

But its terrible for Minny who gives up a decent trade chip in Williams and a key member of their rotation in JJB and get a sg who isnt an upgrade, a center who cant beat out Stiesma and a late pick sometime in the distant future.

If this has been Ridnour instead of JJB and the protection wasnt as severe then Minny would consider it I think.

KOTB no because of Minnesota.

Lee is a SG that can shoot so he's an upgrade by default. Barea while a better player that Ridnour is a bad fit next to Shved because he keeps the ball out of his hands.

Rubio/Ridnour
C.Lee/Shved

This backcourt has great balance.

And Melo is a cheap project center with no pressure to perform right away.

I don't see the point for the Bucks

They already have Ersan as their starting PF and Henson as a PF prospect (not to mention Gooden). Udoh can play both PF/C positions. If the Bucks trade Udoh + their pick, It wouldn't be for another PF. I don't even think Williams has more value than Udoh tbh.

KOBT - no because of the Bucks.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

No from the bucks. I also think Boston gets way too good of a deal for what they give up.

Not a fan for the Wolves or Celtics, so no. But I think it's awesome for the Bucks. Udoh + a top 20 protected first for last year's #2 pick who was stuck behind Love and Beasley all season playing for a dysfunction Wolves team? Sign me up!

And who's been given every opportunity thus far this season and well, saying it nicely, sucks.

I think its too much for the Wolves to give up but I do like Lee. And the rest of the value is fine. So Yes.
