Post#1 » by Trader_Joe » Mon Dec 31, 2012 12:24 am

Real GM's TnT Board Top 25 Most Valuable Players

1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Kyrie Irving
4. Derrick Rose
5. Carmelo Anthony
6. Chris Paul
7. Anthony Davis

With December 15th here, seems now is as good a time as any for our annual list of players with the most trade value. After this is done we will move on to the annual list of players with the most negative trade value.

Please vote for the player that you think currently has the most trade value and please list a nominee that should be added the voting list. Remember this is trade value, so factors such as salary/contract, age, potential, production, injuries, etc. should all be factored in to your vote.

The current nominees:

V: Love
N: Holiday

Shuts down opposing PGs and has separated himself from other PGs like Lillard, Curry, etc. He is top 5-6. He went 29-9-9 last night. He is unreal. He gets no respect on here, but a top 5 PG on 9 million is brilliant to me.
PG: Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson
SG: Andre Roberson, Anthony Morrow, Jeremy Lamb
SF: Kevin Durant, KJ McDaniels, Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Robert Covington
Cc: Al Jefferson, Steven Adams, Kendrick Perkins, Mitch McGary

Vote James Harden

Nominate Andre Drummond

Repeating it for a few threads, but I REALLY disagree with Rubio getting nominated this early. His career statline is 11 pts/8.6 asts/2.3 stls per 36 minutes, his assist numbers cooled off big time the last 15 Gs of his rookie year and has major holes in his skillset (non dominant athleticism, terrible jumpshot) - he's not some proven young star. Then add in the ACL tear and how he's looked since he came back? Drummond has played only slightly less games than him and potentially dominant Cs have huge trade value. I would even nominate Derrick Favors who is a poor man's Drummond in trade value, over Rubio

V: James Harden

N: Chris Bosh (so underrated on this board - better than all the other nominees and still only 28)

Good point. I didn't even think of Bosh for the nomination. He is possibly the most underrated player here on RealGM.
