Simple no from the Boston side. Four players (especially Bradley and Sullinger) and a first rounder for Gasol? Thanks but no thanks, i'd rather cut out SAC and LAL, give the players and the pick to Dallas for Dirk.

Absolutely terrible for Boston, they give up a first as well? LoL. Gasol's trade value is prolly less than Sullingers alone at this point given contract and ability. No way this puts Boston back in contention to beat the Heat. No deal.

I think Gasol and a future 1st for Nowitzki is fair enough for both teams.

Gasol gets out of LA, Cuban lets Nowitzki go on one last run, reuniting him and Nash.
Also, Nowitzki in D'Antoni's system fits a helluva lot better than Gasol. He can hit the 3 and stretch the floor.

Why in the Hell would Dallas gift Dirk to La just to gain $3 million in cap space?

First Dirk will never be traded !!! But if he was it would be to totally erase his salary or to get a good young player and picks. It does nothing for Dallas to DOWNGRADE to Gasol while still owing him almost the same salary.

Obviously LAL get cut out of that scenario. Boston would rather have Dirk, and Dallas would prefer not to make the Marion/Duhon swap.

Sacramento doesn't take the pu-pu platter for Cousins though, and without DMC (or some other high-value long-term piece), Dallas isn't eating Green's contract in a Dirk trade.

You've lost me here. Boston gets a sweetheart deal. they trade in scaps for a legit starting pf that would instantly put Boston back in the hunt.

There is no way that the kings take a cap offer like that.
