Why in the world would LAL do this? This is a major downgrade.

Dwight is expiring and not signed. LA also dumps Artest and Telfair on the Nets...somehow extracts 2 picks and a freshly drafted rd 1 from the Suns. Won't happen.

Suns.......give a 2013 rd 2...no #1 picks (especially as LAL is only around a .500 team.
Nets MIGHT include the 2015 pick...not both.

If LAL can get Dwight to do a S+T...that adds to the value and the return.
CENSORED... No comment.

No way the suns give up those LAL picks without getting some value in return.

Only Brooklyn would do this.

Would the Suns be on board if we re-route BRK's picks to them? That way, they'd only be trading down in '13 and '15 with OPP (other people's picks). I think that's more than fair for the C upgrade that they get.

I'm really surprised that LAL fans are so non-plussed. I though they preferred Crash over Metta; sure, he hasa bigger, longer contract, but he's 3 years younger and far more capable of guarding speedy perimeter players. Face it, Steve is getting (even) worse at checking PGs, and Kobe shouldn't be asked to score 30, AND shut down the Westbrooks of the West.
