Milwaukee/Los Angeles

Postby Bentley1225 on Tue Jan 22, 2013 9:32 am

In light of Gasol trade rumors and not wanting to take back and salary, ill offer this idea.

To Milwaukee
-Pau Gasol (1 year remaining)
-Darious Morris (expiring)
-Devin Ebanks (expiring)
-Robert Sacre (expiring)

To Los Angeles
-Ekpe Udoh (1 year remaining plus QO)
-Samuel Dalembert (expiring)
-Mike Dunleavy (expiring)
-Beno Udrih (expiring)
-2013 1st round pick

This gives Milwaukee a solid starting five with the ability to move up in the standings to be a top 4 EC team to get home court for first round of playoffs. The Bucks can chose to amnesty Drew Gooden in the off-season to afford re-signing Jennings.

Lakers move Jamison to starting 4 and improve their depth while maintaining their salary flexibility.

Jennings/Morris
Ellis/Daniels/Lamb
Illyasova/Moute/Harris
Gasol/Henson/Ebanks
Sanders/Gooden/Sacre

Nash/Udrih/Blake/Duhon
Bryant/Meeks/
Peace/Clark/Dunleavy
Jamison/Udoh/
Howard/Dalembert/Hill

this is getting ridiculous, the bucks don't want gasol if you gave him to us on a silver platter.

Please find a new team to bug with these awful trades.

Actually counter trade
Gasol
2015 unprotected first
2017 unprotected first
3 mil in cash

for
Gooden
Sammy D

Then you'd have a deal.

Too much of our depth to give up with Mike and Beno going out and too much salary coming back without Ersan or Gooden going out. Also, you aren't getting a first.

No way do we give up our first. Awful from a Bucks POV.

Ellis and Gooden for Pau/Meeks. That's the best deal you get.

If Ellis can be swapped for Millsap, Lakers do this in a HEARTBEAT. Ellis is a good player but he is missmatched with Jennings.

On a team with bigs like Jefferson, Kantor and Favors, Ellis will get a ton of "Iverson/Kobe" assists

If Ellis could be swapped for Millsap then why wouldn't the Bucks trade for Millsap?

Yeah...even this one is not gonna boost the Bucks enough,or for any real window. Neanwhile...the Bucks lose Udoh + pick for...ultimately...Laker scraps. Bucks mostly lose secondary stuff..but do lose a pick. They eat a huge $ load too. Were Pau healthy, playing well...maybe they do it. As is...no.
