HOU sends: Asik + Delfino + Morris (perhaps patterson instead?)

Why? start preparing for the D12 sweepstakes by bringing his bff Smith into the fold. lin/harden/smith/howard in 13/14.

ATL sends: Smith + Zaza

Why? Pair up Horford, who would move to his natural pf position, with Asik.

Minnesota's apparently willing to part with several picks for established talent.

i doubt its for a FA to be pf like smith. kirilenko/love/pekovic got that locked up. the 1st two get paid very well and the latter is about to get paid well.

Wow, that actually makes a ton of sense. I voted for Brooklyn, but this offer would take the cake.

Anywhere but Milwaukee please.

I voted Phoenix. Why? Because its utterly ridiculous. Somehow, any Josh Smith trade needs to meet that criteria.

In hindsight, a Milwaukee trade might have better balanced the absurd factor with a greater chance of actually occurring. Something using a '14 protected pick would be a nice way to shield against him (and Monta) leaving them with nothing, and overpaying for a rental.

I think he ends up staying in Atlanta.

I, personally, would do this in a heartbeat. I fear that HOU fans would not.

Hawks don't need Bledsoe and don't want Odom. Besides, now that Garnett's a Center, we'd want him, instead.

Cut out the Clippers.

Garnett's not waiving his no trade clause for a trade to Atlanta. Odom was put in for the expiring. Deandre Jordan can go to Atlanta instead.

Washington Wizards.

The only way a 2 way deal between Boston/Atlanta works is Pierce for Smith + Morrow.

I think Milwaukee.

You're perhaps referring to the trade talk? Maybe, or maybe they're letting Smith find out his worth on the open market.

Phoenix's pursuit of Josh Smith appears to be more fervent than every other team. Wouldn't be shocked if that's what ends up helping them win the Smith sweepstakes.
