You realize Drummond was posting up a PER of 22.5 right shrink? And he had a 18/18 game this season right? He was playing fantastic defense and is a dominant force on the boards and on the paint right?

Wow .. PER, huh??

And an 18-18 game? Derrick Williams just had a 24-16 .. I guess that makes him a Top 5 player, right?

We are not talking about dreams or potential, we're talking about what the guy has been doing in reality. Drummond is a monster at the age of 19 and he has potential to be more than what Dwight Howard is. He has potential to be THE dominant big man in the league. A SUPER STAR.

This is just what I'm talking about. Fans want to be excited about there team, so they look for whatever they can find. A stat that can be misleading. One good game. They can't even stop themselves from using the word "potential" when they start the same paragraph to avoid the word.

That's cool. That's part of being a fan. But fandom is based on heart, not on brains. I don't chatter on about Love's 30-30 game -- he has a body of work against NBA competition that shows that he's the better player

If detroit are going for Love, it'll be Moose going out as the major piece, not Drummond. Love and Monroe don't together as well as Drummond and either guy.
I don't see any team going for this one.
