Phoenix Suns

Lineup:
PG: Bledsoe/Barbosa/Smith
SG: Dragic/Green/Goodwin
SF: Tucker/Marcus Morris/Christmas
PF: Frye/Markieff Morris
C: Plumlee/Len/Kravstov

Needs: The Suns have a bucket load of cap space even after signing Bled to a max (>$10mill left over) and are looking to sign a young gun who is in need of a scenery change.

Primary tactical need is a big man who can rebound well and isn't a black hole defensively, someone like Monroe. Upgrades at the 3 and 4 are also welcome, but not such a priority that the Suns will go out of their way to trade for them.

Ryan McDonough and Lon Babby have both said they are in no rush to trade, and will not go out of their way to sign a veteran unless it is guaranteed not to hinder the future flexibility of the team (i.e rentals only). They have also said they want to keep this team together as chemistry is excellent. That translates to McD looking for a trade purely with Okafor's contract and draft picks (at least 2/4 will be gone by draft night)

Untouchable: Dragic, Goodwin, Len

Unlikely to be traded: Morris twins, Plumlee, Bledsoe, Tucker, Green

Not shopping, but will listen to offers: Frye, Smith

Expendable: Okafor's expiring (insurance covered)

No meaningful trade value: Kravstov, Christmas, Barbosa

Take off Gordon from the Bobcats list. They just released him.

Welcome to the board!

This was the 2013-2014 version, which means you have given me the great reminder to start a whole new one asap.

New York Knicks:

(Message to Phil Jackson and the whole front office)

Priority #1: Get off Swish, Stat, Fat Ray and Bargs
Priority #2: Melo isn´t everything! If you could aquire assets in a s&t, at least think about it
Priority #3: Aquire a PG (Rondo or Jeff Teague), a backup and a starting SF (if Melo leaves), two PF´s, a backup C
Priority #4: Don´t go for a "LA Lakers 2008-2010 pt. 2" version! Lamar Odom, Metta and Pau Gasol aren´t the same!

We are in a bizarro rebuild zone wherein we want all of our young guys to be super-awesome and yet somehow lose all our games. Our "needs" are not apparent until we figure out how all these kids react to bigger roles; our bench is total crap and yet we don't want it to be better.

Wants: future picks, I guess. Again, this whole season is basically a lab experiment so the answer to this question may change over time or it may not.

Available: in theory, some huge expirings (and a small TPE from the Foye trade). But we're not exactly interested in taking on future salary so I don't know how "available" those are either (and believe me, nobody wants those players as players).

We also have Brandon Rush who may have some value in the "3-and-D" wing craze, but having come off a major injury he needs to play his value back up, too.

Sounds to me like you want developing young players.
