Nash and the #6 for Rose
Lakers gamble on Rose coming back. Hope he can lure Love next summer, then KD in 2 years. Kobe loves Rose, and Rose lives in LA off season. He still is a star, which counts in LA
Bulls free a ton of cap space and still go after Melo. They draft Smart, who Thibs would love. Even without Melo, Bulls can now have 2 top 6 prospects added (Mirotic and Smart), and try to add a guy like Afflalo.
I doubt either team answers the phone, but thoughts?

Neither team answers the phone. Rose means to much to LAL, and the Pick Value/Cap Space mean to much for LAL.

I do it as the Bulls. Frees a ton of cap space Rose's contract is one of the more questionable in the league, perhaps negative value. It's hard to imagine him coming all the way back.
