The Nets line of thinking right now is to give this group one more go. Doubt any major moves are made UNLESS the right one comes along. Out of due diligence, they may contact Minny but Minny is not salivating at the Nets assets.

What I'm hearing/assuming

KG - Comes back for one more year. Nets guaranteeing his final year of $12m
PP - Comes back for a 2/16 offer with second year partially guaranteed
Livingston - gets a better offer elsewhere and takes it
Blatche - hearing the Nets aren't desperate for him to come back, and there might not be minutes for him
A.Anderson - might be worth slightly more than the minimum, but I still think he's back
AK - tough one. He had an injury ravaged year and was terrible on offense.. but still very good on defense and productive when healthy. I think he ends up staying with the Russian connection and promise of more minutes

Thornton and Teague- I expect to be shopped
Bogdanovic may come over if they don't keep Livingston for the mMLE, but if they keep Livingston expect him to be shopped.

The biggest question/rumor right now is about Lopez.
According to Sam Amico he is "very" available.
I get it, in that he may not fit in Kidd's system like Plumlee did, but I still think it would be a major mistake to move him. He's one of the 3 best offensive centers in the game along with Jefferson and Cousins and offers much needed shot blocking. Given his injuries they would get far below his value, but this is Billy King we're talking about here. He doesn't normally win trades and in this case he might be catering to Kidd in building a team that Kidd wants.

I don't think D.Will is going anywhere. Supposedly the rumors that he wanted out were false and he was the Nets' most important player last year going by on/off numbers. I'd also like to see if removing bone spurs and cleaning out his ankles helps him regain some of his form and confidence.

As for the draft.. the Nets are still scouting hard and have hinted that they will be able to get into the draft, which I'm guessing means $2m for a mid 2nd rounder from a team with multiple picks.

Projected line-up:

Deron Williams / Marquis Teague
mMLE / Alan Anderson / Marcus Thornton
Joe Johnson / Andrei Kirilenko
Paul Pierce/ Mirza Teletovic
Brook Lopez / Mason Plumlee / Kevin Garnett
+
Purchased 2nd rounder

Who are some players the Nets will be targeting and feel they have a shot at getting. Also, who did Prokhorov reference to in that interview last August about he knows, "players that want to come here but will not reveal who they are to avoid a fine".

This summer?
No idea.
There isn't much in the way of roster space or ability to sign players. We have the mini MLE which will be reserved for Livingston, and if he doesn't want it than probably Bogdanovic. Otherwise the minimum can only get so much, though Livingston was a steal for it.

No, in reference to the next two summers. I would hope that they plan to utilize that cap space wisely.

In reference to 2016. Do they have confidence they can lure top tier FAs?

Confidence is not something Prokhorov lacks.

Potential unrestricted FAs in 2016 when the Nets only have D.Will and Plumlee on the books as of now:
LBJ
Durant
Howard
Bosh
Noah
Horford
Batum
Conley
Derozen
Gallo
A.Jefferson
B.Lopez
Hibbert

Actually no. Not since they are above the Tax Apron. Good catch. I'll remove that from the OP.
