Re: Golden State Warriors Cap Space
MLE used for Livingston, triggering the hardcap.
And for that hardcap, Bogut's numbers need to be adjusted (significantly)

Re: Golden State Warriors Cap Space
So if I'm doing my math correctly, the W's are at about $72M in salary right now (the $65M detailed here plus Livingston's approximately $5M plus Bogut's $2M bonus), which means we can spend about ~$9M more before we hit the apron at $81M.
Anyone care to confirm/correct me?

That is pretty right on, assuming that Livingston and Bogut's numbers are correct. I haven't put those in yet, because I'm waiting on official word on what those end up being at. But, I think you are right in range on the 9 million. Maybe give or take a 1/2 million.

Livingston should be at 5.5 cutting it to 8.5m, and then yes.
Martin + Love - Lee + BarnesorKlay = 4.5m So, to take on a Brewer or a Budinger, GS now needs to send out a contract.

We could always send Speights, who is a de facto expiring (team option for 15-16).

FYI, the apron is a hard cap for GSW this season, because they spent more than 60% of the MLE. This affects how the TPE can be used.

Wonder why the Warriors did not use part of the RJ 9.7 TPE giving something like far off future 2nd or cash to do a S&T with BKN.

Because BK didn't have bird rights to Livingston, and could only offer the mini-MLE (being over the apron).
BK couldn't sign him to a $5M/yr salary, so they couldn't S&T him.
