Bledsoe for McGee and Afflalo (S&T)

Just trying to think of a decent Bledsoe trade. This gives the Suns a nice replacement SG and an athletic center. Probably a bit more would have to go back and forth to get the salaries right.

For the Nuggets they combine assets into more of a star level player. And as it's a sign and trade they don't need to worry about keeping Bledsoe.

So something like

Bledsoe (S&T) 15mil ish.

for

Javale 11.25 mil
Afflalo 7.5 mil

Not sure if Pho would need to kick in a little more salary or not to make it work.

So, the Nuggets are going to tie up $27M in the PG position ??? Who comes off the bench, Lawson or Bledsoe ? Does Foye start at SG again ? Who backs up Mozgov, the rookie Nurkic ??

While the trade may work, the end result has more questions than what it's worth IMO

This trade makes no sense.

Denver just shipped Fournier and scraps to Orlando to get Afflalo for a reason. And Nurkic isn't ready.

hmmm- I like it from a player standpoint, but hate the money Bledsoe would be making. But if Denver thinks Bledsoe is worth the risk (he'd be a fantastic two-guard next to Lawson) then go for it! They got Afflalo for next to nothing- Gary Harris should be just fine off the bench, and with Gallo and Chandler filling out the wings, plus Hickson, Mozgov, Faried, Arthur, and Nurkic all sharing PF and C minutes, Denver still has a very deep roster at every position. Phoenix seems like the ideal fit for McGee and they are pretty damn deep as well.
