I think Jason Thompson would be a decent fit in NYK, and I would definitely trade him for JR Smith . . . unfortunately.

Although I'd prefer to turn Jason Thompson into Josh Smith rather than JR Smith.

So, I'm pretty sure I've got the correct answer...

Jason Terry for JR

Moray has always been a "talent first" guy and Smith would certainly be a scary addition to the Rockets bench from a talent perspective, giving them a much needed scorer to replace Lin. Morary wins.

NYK does it because they cut a year off a bad deal and get rid of a headache. Jackson wins.

JR experiences death by strangulation at the hands McHale during a meaningless game in mid-Feburary. McHale wins.

McHale is sentenced to the death penalty by an overly punitive Texas jury. Houston fans win.

It's a Win-Win-Win-Win

Boston for Wallace?

Nets for Jarrett Jack?

Why would they want 3yrs of Landry $6.5 M when they get the same form Acy for $9 K?
Why would NY trade a $6 M 1yr &(PO)JR for a $10 M 2yrs of Wallace?
Why would want 3yrs of Jack with Calderon on board for 3yr?

kings might do t
boston wouldn't do it
nets wouldn't do it

didn't realize it's one month old

Can't imagine it. The issues with JR are really never going to change. Add in the fact that he can't hit shots so far this year, and it's not going to get any better.

He's played some. Is sick. And hasn't played particularly well. So either no (if there was no interest) or interest has dwindled.

Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson, or any other salary dump. NY would have to match salaries with either Bargs or Stoudemire though

I still think the Knicks should send Shumpert/Calderon/Smith/Acy all together to a contender looking to acquire a bench. Portland for Robinson/Wright/Freeland/Leonard or Smith/Shump/Jose for Tayshaun Prince/Pondexter
2016 GMAT Blazers

Howard/Nene/
Griffin/M.Leonard/T.Jones
Porter/Marc.Morris/J.Johnson
McCollum/Stauskas/Thompson/Seldon
Lillard/Bayless/DeColo

His chucking has certainly gone down so I would think value would increase a bit from the " this guy will never get it " perspective

I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Only really because his minutes have gone down under Fisher. Add in that he's shooting at essentially the lowest point of his career, and you could still consider him "chucking".
