Probably not. The Heat need more centres, not fewer...you would have to get them a better centre than Birdman, in which case you can just keep that guy yourself.

I have one idea. Once Pek is healthy.....Pekovic to Miami, birdman to Dallas, ???? to Minnesota. Pek is a great fit next to Bosh, who's mid-range and passing game would be great next to a post monster. And defensively Bosh is a good help defender to make up for Pek's lack of shot blocking.

It's a high risk/high reward move for Miami but I think it could work somehow. Minnesota won't take negative value for Pek though. Injuries or not, he's still a top 10 C in the league.

True, I only proposed it because he's an older center only played about half their games and with that payroll and the injuries they may elect to trim some fat

If Dallas had something to trade then anything is possible, but the reality is that any trade would have to be built around either Felton or Harris - neither of which interest Miami. Also they can't include a late first that will come to Miami any earlier than 2018 (they owe Boston a first that is protected 1-3 & 15-30 this year, then 1-7 after).

If they can find a suitable third team that will take one of those PGs & give us something we might be interested in (even a wing prospect) then we could do business.
