Charlotte-Brooklyn-OKC-Denver megatrade

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6560564

Charlotte gets: Joe Johnson, Kendrick Perkins, Jeremy Lamb, OKC's 2015 1st round pick
Brooklyn gets: Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Marvin Williams, Gerald Henderson, Alonzo Gee
OKC gets: Al Jefferson
Denver gets: Brook Lopez

Charlotte starts from scratch and has JJ up until the end of next season. Give more minutes to develop for Zeller, Biyombo, and Vonleh.

Brooklyn sheds salary and hopefully Coach Hollins straightens up a bunch of knuckleheads in Stephenson and McGee.

OKC gets a safer option for a big man in Al Jefferson. Big Al is a better rebounder, more polished post scorer and has a jumper. He is also more durable than Lopez.

Denver gets the center that they wanted in Brook Lopez. The Nuggets would also send their pick via OKC to Charlotte (because it's looking, based on the standings, that OKC is giving that pick to Denver...but the Nuggets would send that to the Hornets for helping them net Lopez)

Rather have Lopez than Al without question.

Problem is even when you have Lopez, you don't really have Lopez. He is always getting injured

Seriously? Hassan Whiteside makes Lopez look like Kwame Brown. And as i said, Jefferson is far more durable than him.

And Big Al makes Lopez look like Whiteside on defense. Hornets fans are going to be very disappointed in what they get back for Big Al (assuming they can move him).

In fairness to all 3, Hassan Whiteside has been making everyone look like Kwame Brown. He's been on a mission.

Charlotte is moving Al Jefferson to hand over the reins to Biz, Zeller, and Vonleh. Jeremy Lamb might need a change of scenery with OKC getting Dion Waiters. Perkins is included, obviously to make salaries work.

I know why Charlotte does this. Everyone knows. Why do the other teams?

Brooklyn gets rid 2 of their "Big 3 [contracts]"
OKC goes all in to get KD to the Finals again and possibly win the NBA championship
Denver...well I'm not sure why the Nuggets are interested in getting Brook but he gives the team someone to pass the ball in the post.

DEN isn't giving a pick for a rental....JaVale and salary filler, sure...but not the #1 we held out for in the Mozgov trade.....especially with Lopez's injury history...No Thanks !!

No from the nets. I'd rather deal with charlotte and dever exclusively or move lopez to miami. too much value being sucked out of this deal. basically we get denvers crap for lopez

Yeah I'd do the deal without the pick, but otherwise no way.
