TOR/OKC - James Johnson for PJIII

Post#1 » by TRNBA12 » Wed Jan 28, 2015 1:29 am

Toronto trades:
James Johnson

Oklahoma City trades:
Perry Jones III
Ish Smith

James Johnson was having a very productive season but him and Casey don't appear to get along thus he's barely been playing lately.

OKC gets a two way wing more ready for playoff action than Roberson. Toronto takes a flier on Jones III who hasn't produced much but is talented. Also very important for OKC is Johnson's contract. As he is locked up for 2.5 mil in 2015-2016 this helps them with what will otherwise be a tight crunch this summer.

I.think.Raps can get more than this for him if they decide to move him, which they shouldn't. Idvmuch rather fire the coach than trade players the coach doesn't like, because you know valanciunas is nextbif Casey has his way. Both Val and JJ are too good and too tall to be on the floor.(Casey logic)

Would rather have James Johnson as he is a very good defensive wing who looks like he matured a lot from his first time here. I think PJ 3 ceiling is James Johnson
