Portland and Toronto (Matthews to Toronto)
Possible move in the offseason. Possible sign and trade? Might be reaching here though
Raptors In: Wesley Matthews
Raptors Out: Terrance Ross, Bebe, Hansbrough, and Toronto 2015 1st round pick
Tried making it fair for both teams and wanted some input from here to see what you guys think?

Re: Portland and Toronto (Matthews to Toronto)
this would either mean Wes wants to go to Tor or Por doesn't want to pay him his worth. I don't think either theory would apply.

Re: Portland and Toronto (Matthews to Toronto)
Portland is contending, trading away a good player for a few bad ones and a pick just isn't worth it.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Re: Portland and Toronto (Matthews to Toronto)
If Portland locks up Afflalo first then maybe there is something here.
I like Wes, but it seems excessive what some expect him to get as a FA. (seen some suggest $15m+ per year)
Portland gets depth, a possible replacement for Batum if he isn't affordable and a pick.
Toronto upgrades their starting 5.

you making it sound as if Tor has any leverage in this scenario

I dont really like the deal because we already have 2 sgs. We need a true SF or a defensive 4.
So if that proposal is off the table, then id scrap the deal

what is a true 3? vs. what Wes plays? I men he's big enough to guard opposing 3's, so I'm not sure what he lacks to be a true 3?

Ross and a 2015 1st before this season would have looked like a pretty fair deal. Now that Ross sucks (he will likely come out of this funk).. not so much.

Re: Portland and Toronto (Matthews to Toronto)
Wes is a good player but he is a SG who will be overpaid not ideal as a back-up nor can he be a 6th man like Williams.
Not a good fit in Toronto.
Toronto's needs SF, Big PF and back-up C.

Portland may consider it if the 2016 Knicks/Denver pick was included instead of Toronto's pick.

Man that sucks for the Blazers that Wes is done for the year. Afflalo deal looking even bigger for them now.

Toronto still up for the trade?
I really like Wes, hope he recovers fully.

With his injury, the Blazers might not be willing to pay more than what other teams might be willing to pay, so i could see him leaving.
