Charlotte/Minn

Charlotte out: Big Al & Marvin Williams
Charlotte in: Pek & K. Mart.

Minny out: Pek & K. Mart
Minny in: Big Al & Marvin Williams

Why for Charlotte. Pek's contract is a risk. But if he can stay relatively healthy coming off the bench, that's some serious bench scoring and he's a more capable defender than Big Al. K. Mart really helps with scoring in the starting line up. They move on from Marvin Williams and open up PT for Zeller/Vonleh.

Why for Minny: They deal with one year of Big Al for getting out of Pek's contract. Marvin Williams really helps space the floor for their younger slashing guards.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

No chance. You would have to give up a really good pick to dump Pekovic, which is obviously something I don't expect Minnesota to do.
