My mock with draft day deals

Trade 1.

Knicks get: Trey Burke, pick 7, and pick 12
- Willie Stein and Frank Kaminsky

Jazz get: Ty Lawson

Nuggets get: Jose Calderon and pick 4
- Emannuel Mudiay

This deal helps all 3 to get where they want... Nuggets add a rebuilding center piece. Knicks add a young PG who may fit better in NY than UTH. They also add 2 lottery bigs bigs for depth. Jazz add a consistent PG who may get them into the playoffs.

Trade 2.

Hawks get: Darren Collison, Carl Landry and pick 6
- Stanley Johnson

Kings get: Jeff Teague, Mike Scott, and pick 15
- Myles Turner

Kings need that 2nd 3rd consistent all star in a deep west to even make the playoffs. I like Teague in Sac and I think Atl is comfortable to put Schroder as the starter and go get a lottery SF to replace Carroll or be mentored by him. Hawks remain deep with this trade and get. A potential superstar in SJohnson.

Trade 3.

Lakers get : pick 20
- Rondae Hollis Jefferson

Raptors get: pick 27 and pick 34
- Michael Frazier and Delon Wright

Mitch has said to not be comfortable adding 3 rookies do I see either a trade up or a trade for a vet... Raptors also have only 1 pick and may look to add another.

Mind listing the reasons for each team for the trades? Otherwise the rules say its a lock. Thanks!

Why would NY draft two centers?

play Kaminsky at the 4, triange needs spacing.

So I think it would make more sense to draft a guard as well as Kaminsky if that's the case.

Well Kaminsky IMO is more a stretch 4 who can play center but won't be affective there full time. Kaminsky and Stein for the future would be a good fit as both compliment each other's weaknesses... Also NY has zero bigs lol

Yeah Payne fits what Indy wants and that's a more uptempo guard.... I also don't see much in Dekker and would much rather have Anderson and Hollis Jefferson.

He will be the one guy who will be waiting for his name with tons of hype and of course the Cavs select him.

I'd be down with that for the Nuggets

I know it is a small quibble, but I think 20 is too high for 27 and 34. I just don't see Toronto considering it. Then again, I think 21 and giving Dallas a little cap room is believable, although Dallas might pass.

Like 21 and Felton for 27 and 34 ?? Idk cause I see Dallas going after a point guard. Maybe they trade up for Payne, Grant, of Jones if not there at 21.

Even 21 for 27 and 34 straight seems okay, I just don't see Toronto doing 20. However, if Dallas is not interested, I'm not sure who next would be.

If we draft Prozingis instead of Hezonja I'm gonna strangle somebody.

he's projected to be top 5 now (Proz) I don't think it would be such a bad pick, his offense would be a great fit next to Drummond.

I can see them going after Porz or Kaminsky to be a stretch guy next to him and build a similar type SVG team he had in Orlando with Rashard Lewis and Dwight Howard... IMO I never trust an international guy going top 5, idk why but I'd rather go deeper in the draft internationally. I think Mario will be solid but can be just another Rudy Fernandez and Porz can be Bargs... I'm going after what I think the FO will do , not personally what I would do. I

Teauge to Sacramento makes a ton of sense to me, and sounds so much like a George Karl move.

Kinda why I did the trade... IMO the Kings will go hard to add a Teague or Lawson if available.

I like this for Sac too. Upgrade at PG, add a 3 point shooting PF and draft the best SF or rim protector available (which ever they deem a greater need)

It's great for Sac but I'm curious what Atl wants to do... I think holding them back of anything is th coach, he's Pop style which means they do nothing but build chemistry... But a George Hill for Kwahi Leonard type deal? They have Carrol but they still need to resign Milsap who may get max as well as Carroll so it will be interesting. The Hawks made the ECF and it's not over, who knows..
