Charlotte and Chicago

Post#1 » by bigmean » Tue Jul 7, 2015 2:52 am

Chicago gets Brian Roberts, PJ Hairston, Marvin Williams

Charlotte gets Tony Snell Taj Gibson

Chicago gets a legitmate backup point guard, they have not resign Brooks yet which is telling, Marvin Williams is expiring contract he he is good strength 4 who can ,play some 3 as well, i definite 3 and D player. Hairston is upgrade to Snell because of shooting

Charlotte gets a starter at power forward with high PER, Snell is a deep rotation player

I like the idea of a Williams/Gibson swap, as it relieves roster glut for both teams, but the filler pieces don't seem necessary. Maybe just add a well-protected 1st?

No from Chicago.
Taj & Pau mesh well right now and Tony Snell is a hidden gem

From the Bulls, I don't like getting stuck with Marvin Williams who would be in a suit all year behind Pau, Mirotic and Portis. Taj for Hairston is a loss for the them as well Dunleavy and McDermott at the 3 so what does Hairston add? The point in getting Roberts isn't so he can play 14 minutes behind Rose, he could probably play next to him at times so no need for Hairston there. And it's not like either Dunleavy or McDermott couldn't take some minutes at the 2.

ChettheJet what is young plan for backup point guard... Andre Miller. I do see the need to have gibson when Mirotic should promise as rookie and you drafted Portis. I also like Bairstow as a deep depth guy. WIlliams is at least a three and d type player with an exoiring contract. Hairston upside is much greater than Snell
