Probably Willie Reed will be our backup center. That's fine. We're not contending or (without Chris Bosh) even making the playoffs. We don't need to make it worse by doing bad trades though. It's time to stand down for a bit.

Exactly this. Reed is fine as a back-up C for a lotto team. He's young and may develop into a back-up for a PO team, but will never do so with PT. Why not give it to him in the year we will suck?
